01 : ARRIVE THIMPU
Transfer from your places of stay to the airport in time for flight to PARO:The
flight into Bhutan takes you over the great Himalayas, offering the most scenery
of the world's highest glacial peaks. As you enter into Paro valley, you will
see the silvery Pa Chu (Paro river) meandering down the valley, the Paro Dzong
(fortress) and Ta Dzong. On arrival transfer to Thimphu (54 kms/2 hours).On
arrival check-in at: HOTEL. Lunch at the hotel.Rest of the day free for independent
activities.DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT THE HOTEL.
Day 02 : THIMPHU
Breakfast at the hotel.Today full day sightseeing tour of Thimphu Valley includes
: National Library: It holds a vast collection of ancient Buddhist texts, manuscripts,
modern academic books and printing blocks for prayer flags.Painting School :
Famous for traditional Thangkha paintings. Lunch at the hotel.Memorial Chorten
: The beautiful stupa built in the memory of Bhutan;s Third King who is popularly
regarded as Father of modern Bhutan. Handicraft Emporium: It displays wide assortment
of beautifully hand-woven and crafted products.DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT THE
HOTEL.
Day
03 : THIMPHU-PARO
Breakfast at the hotel.Drive from Thimphu to Paro (54 kms/2 hours). On arrival
check-in at: HOTEL.Lunch at the hotel.Afternoon sightseeing tour of Paro. Visit
the Ta-dzong which was later converted into the National Museum in 1967, and
is filled with antique Thankha paintings, textiles, weapons and armour. Drive
to the Rinpung dzong, built in 17th century to defend the valley against Tibetan
invaders. The dzong is now used as an administration centre and school for monks.
DINNER & OVERNIGHT AT THE HOTEL.
Day 04 : PARO-DELHI
Breakfast at the hotel.Transfer from hotel to the airport in time for DELHI
